Vulcanized EPDM rubber sealing strip:
It has a much stronger sealing elasticity and durability than PVC rubber strip, but because it needs to be finalized by microwave vulcanization line, the processing energy consumption is high, usually more than 20 times that of PVC processing, the product cannot be reused, is not environmentally friendly, and is not a product recommended by the state. In addition, the material proportion of this type of product (above 1.4) is similar to that of PVC (the proportion of low-end vulcanized EPDM rubber strips is higher), the window rate is similar to that of PVC rubber strips, and the use cost is relatively high, which is difficult for door and window companies to accept.

This sealing strip is a new material developed on the basis of foreign technology and domestic independent research and development in recent years. It is mainly used for automobile door and window sealing strips, and has begun to be used for building door and window sealing strips in recent years. Its outstanding advantages are:

1. The function and service life are similar to those of vulcanized EPDM rubber sealing strips.

2. The processing energy consumption is lower than that of vulcanized EPDM rubber strips (similar to PVC).

3. It does not contain heavy metals such as halogens and lead, and can be recycled after several years, which meets the requirements of green building materials.

Small specific gravity (only 0.9-0.95) and high window rate. The purchase price seems high, but the actual use cost is low.

The price of modified PVC strips is relatively low. Due to the difference in quality, the price is generally between 6,000 yuan and 15,000 yuan per ton. Low-end sealing strips use waste materials, substitute plasticizers and high filling content, which makes the strips have poor elasticity, easy to harden, have a pungent smell, and are easy to move and make the frame material yellow, and the service life is short. A small number of door and window companies in low-level price competition are still using it. Medium and high-quality PVC strips can meet the standard policy and have a relatively longer service life.
